Meet Bruck, aka Brucey, are newest member of 13 Highland Street, along with Scot, Dylan, Cody and myself it brings the pose up to 5 males, whoa baby! Lots of excitement in the air despite the 0 degree temp last night, (no frozen pipes!) York Street nears its final stages, real esate continues to push forward by leaps and bounds, lots of new endeavors our forumlating, been good at getting up early, not so good at daily gym routines. A great dinner tonight planned with Erin, a trip planned for NYC, alas I lost my glasses last night so if anybody knows where they are, please let me know, a fun filled weekend ahead of property hunting and generally an all around jovial spirit here in Bath. My slovakian brother Palo and his girl friend Danielle made it up this past weekend, FINALLY, Bryn had an awesome gathering down in Portland and the Shrimp Shed is looking spectacular.

Well, back at the grind of making money this morning, or at least trying to anyway :) Yes I am driven, yes I want to make millions but I think without the relationships, interactions with people in my business the money would be worthless as the quote above seems to imply. Returned from Aspen last night to a house with a broken oil burner!! Sitting in the kitchen by the open stove for heat, have the dryer spewing its heat into the house and also the water running to prevent pipe freezing. I like a cold house but come’on, this is ridiculous!!!

A warm hello from the “Little Red Ski Haus” in a little town they call ASSSSPEN, where the beer flows like wine and the women flock instinctively like the salmon of capastrana. Relaxing in our room after a successful 2nd day of skiing. 20 inches of fresh powder the day before we arrived and crystal clear blue skies since our arrival have helped make the trip most excellent thus far. Scot and I hiked the Highland bowl today, got some good video footage, but the learning curve for putting on the site is still curvy so may have to default to Utube. One more day of tracks tomorrow than back to Boulder for a night and then back to East coast. Take a look here for some more photos from the trip if interested..

“Rise and shine”, “the early bird gets the worm”, “the tide waits for no one” Sitting here in West Point at 5:40 AM, yes I am up and feeling good, ever since the trip at 4:00 in the manana down to Portland with my Dad, I have been on a early wake regime, anything before 6 is really good for me, before 7 - solid and before 8, simply late! :) Great dinner down at the coast last night, lobsters, merlot, great friends, great times.

2007 begins with a steady drizzle all day, but hooray is what I say, new begins, new enthusiasm, energy and excitement. This year I have decided to write down my resolutions and store them away with the goal of opening up the list about this time next year and checking off the ones I accomplished, the ones I fell short and the ones I over acheived on. Isn’t it funny how it takes one night, one moment in time for us to reflect, make new promises. What does the year have in store for me, renewed vigor at real estate, both for others and myself, a resolution to put on weight :), muscle weight that is and continue my multi year quest for that 6 pack that continues to elude me! A perhaps non quanitifiable goal, but the task of staying focused at the tast at hand and in control of vices in my life, continuing to increase my FIQ, financial IQ and last but certainly not least inventing/creating a product and launching the business behind it, getting back to my entrepreneurial and imaginative roots. Hello world, 2007 is here!!! God bless…
