I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillons of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, “Hi.” They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.”

Good morning from Bath. This computer, my fingers, the pen on my desk, the thermos and ginger tea I drink from. All objects of attention, vying for thought… coexisting together in the perceptual world I have created.. that we all have created. Habitual behavioral norms and perceptions learned since the day our brain started processing, assembling the material world we cut through each and every moment… all formed from one particle of mass, all connected via the life force…ibrational energy that is continually broken down and built back up in the many forms we perceive.
I encourage you to take a look at this power point presentation two_choices that my mom forwarded to me the other day. It is a great reminder/philosophy on on how to go about living each and every day of your life!
Each and every moment is new, exciting and wonderful. Live it baby!!

Ahhhh.. the ever present moment. Espoused as they proverbial Key to life from so many different angles -spiritual, religious, famous quote, self-motivational speakers, Buddha, God, yadda yadda yadda. Why? Because it’s true that being in the moment is a KEY to joy, gratitude and happiness!!!! Easier said then done as the mind/ego easily says in its inner voice that you will be in the moment, you will live here and now, but when implementation effects your daily habitual ruminating and the repetitive mind patterns the “Inner Being” clashes with the ethereal mind/ego and generally the ego wins out and you go back to the daily grind.
So how do you stay in the moment, how do you enjoy being in the moment? For me prayer and meditation help a ton. As simple as focusing on your breathing, a few yoga stretches and listening/watching the world go by. Stop and look around at all the objects, colors and sounds your senses are perceiving each and every moment. Let them flow through you, go with them, feel your soul and instincts and fly baby, fly!!!
