Happy 2009 family and friends. What does the year have in store for you? I love the new year, new begnining, despite being just another day January 1st gives us all a chance to rethink, refocus, rework our lives..it creates that excellent feeling of hope in our selves that we can accomplish anything but it fades so quick often, why is this? We adapt, we get comfortable and then forget. Thus my new years resolution….each month reevaluate and rewrite goals for the upcoming months. Thus I will have 12 months of resolution, plus compete in a 1/2 ironman and never black out
Lots of good vibes from Bath Maine,

I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillons of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, “Hi.” They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.”

Good morning from Bath. This computer, my fingers, the pen on my desk, the thermos and ginger tea I drink from. All objects of attention, vying for thought… coexisting together in the perceptual world I have created.. that we all have created. Habitual behavioral norms and perceptions learned since the day our brain started processing, assembling the material world we cut through each and every moment… all formed from one particle of mass, all connected via the life force…ibrational energy that is continually broken down and built back up in the many forms we perceive.
I encourage you to take a look at this power point presentation two_choices that my mom forwarded to me the other day. It is a great reminder/philosophy on on how to go about living each and every day of your life!
Each and every moment is new, exciting and wonderful. Live it baby!!

Ahhhh.. the ever present moment. Espoused as they proverbial Key to life from so many different angles -spiritual, religious, famous quote, self-motivational speakers, Buddha, God, yadda yadda yadda. Why? Because it’s true that being in the moment is a KEY to joy, gratitude and happiness!!!! Easier said then done as the mind/ego easily says in its inner voice that you will be in the moment, you will live here and now, but when implementation effects your daily habitual ruminating and the repetitive mind patterns the “Inner Being” clashes with the ethereal mind/ego and generally the ego wins out and you go back to the daily grind.
So how do you stay in the moment, how do you enjoy being in the moment? For me prayer and meditation help a ton. As simple as focusing on your breathing, a few yoga stretches and listening/watching the world go by. Stop and look around at all the objects, colors and sounds your senses are perceiving each and every moment. Let them flow through you, go with them, feel your soul and instincts and fly baby, fly!!!

Written by Herbert Hoover and taken from this article I just read on the history of previous financial disasters of our country and commentary on the current crisis. An interesting read..
Happy Belated Thanksgiving to all.
Today Stevie and I set out for the Kripalu Institute for a 3 day retreat in search of peace, harmony and inner calmness.
Giving thanks for all we have, all we can have, all we have had. One beauty of life it that it is always changing, manifesting, dynamic and awesome.  Go with the flow, create the reality you want.

Coming off a wonderful 2 day energy/healing/intuition workshop in Vermont at the house of Dagny St. John my teacher and close friend, I had the luxury of sharing with 3 other spectacular, incredible individuals Julie, Jorie and Ashley many sweet moments of life. I feel the urge to begin writing again. Life offers so much… the ability to create your own reality, to reach for the stars, to be a star… how easy it is to fall into habitual habits, not necessarily always bad habits but simply habits in general. It seems to be the way of society, but is it necessarily the way of the human spirit and the Inner Being that resides within us all. The universe, the population as a whole is on the verge of something exciting. The hope instilled by this US presidential election demonstates the energy and power of life, action, purpose.   Positive thinking, change the routine, do just one thing different and see how you feel. Free will and tap into your universal energy.

Change is inevitable. From words, come thoughts, come perceptions, come reality yet your reality is not necessarily my reality. A close friend just left me a wonderful message… a passage that I may work to transcribe if time permits at some point,
yet time is always ticking ticking and as a limited resource how best do we utilize it. Why must we feel so compelled to utilize it? Spontaneity and leaps of faith… trusting in ones instincts…feeling instead of thinking…positive emanations of gratitude and happiness.

Well, so much for the consistent updates on… well….living. What a summer, what a life, what an up and down roller coasteresque life I lead…I think that we all lead to some degree.  With the changing of seasons comes the rethinking of priorities, of goals, of next steps.   Kickstarting the spirtual bug I have begun the Presence Process anew complementing nicely my foray into the world of Yerba MateÂ
.  What a summer that needs no explanation but for boats, beachfires, friends, family and the occasional lobstering excursion!!! Why do we spend so much time dwelling on the past, thinking about the future? Stop, take 3 deep breaths and enjoy the moment, the connectedness to the life that abounds! Lots of good vibes to all….

yet living in the moment and accepting the reality of a situation and the new paths it creates is equally important.
Three weeks back from the journey… two in your face realizations -1) Life quickly adjusts to your circumstances… did the trip ever happen??? 2) We are a consumer nation and we WASTE so much. Please recycle, turn the lights off, don’t waste water (just pee outside
) and remember that “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure“
