If you see the world as a happy loving place, then thats where you are going to live.  But if you see the world as messed up, negative, and dangerous place, then that will be your reality.“  Having been drinking lemon juice/maple syrup/cayenne pepper juju juice now for 4 days… aka the Master Cleanse …do I see the world as a happier, more loving place? Perhaps.   The recommended time is 10 days, but recommendations aside my belly is currently aching, the spritual journay has happened and life is too short to deprive oneself of God given gifts of nutrients!!  So after writing this post, straight to the grocery store I go, 4 new recipes in hand!  Has it been beneficial?  I feel so…  the re-realization of how much time we spend thinking about, preparing and eating food and the refocus on healthy eating going forward, being more contemplative and focused,   the caffeine habit kicked.  (until perhaps tomorrow morning )   So go for it if you feel you are in a rut, need a change of pace, simply want to try something different.

Coming off a wonderful 2 day energy/healing/intuition  workshop in Vermont at the house of Dagny St. John my teacher and close friend, I had the luxury of sharing with 3 other spectacular, incredible individuals Julie, Jorie and Ashley many sweet moments of life.  I feel the urge to begin writing again.  Life offers so much… the ability to create your own reality, to reach for the stars, to be a star… how easy it is to fall into habitual habits, not necessarily always bad habits but simply habits in general. It seems to be the way of society, but is it necessarily the way of the human spirit and the Inner Being that resides within us all.  The universe, the population as a whole is on the verge of something exciting. The hope instilled by this US presidential election demonstates the energy and power of life, action, purpose.    Positive thinking, change the routine, do just one thing different and see how you feel. Free will and tap into your universal energy.

Change is inevitable.  From words, come thoughts, come perceptions, come reality yet your reality is not necessarily my reality.  A close friend just left me a wonderful message… a passage that I may work to transcribe if time permits at some point, yet time is always ticking ticking and as a limited resource how best do we utilize it.  Why must we feel so compelled to utilize it?  Spontaneity and leaps of faith… trusting in ones instincts…feeling instead of thinking…positive emanations of gratitude and happiness.

Well, so much for the consistent updates on… well….living.  What a summer, what a life, what an up and down roller coasteresque life I lead…I think that we all lead to some degree.   With the changing of seasons  comes the rethinking of priorities, of goals, of next steps.    Kickstarting the spirtual bug I have begun the Presence Process anew complementing nicely my foray into the world of Yerba Mate  .   What a summer that needs no explanation but for boats, beachfires, friends, family and the occasional lobstering excursion!!!  Why do we spend so much time dwelling on the past, thinking about the future?  Stop, take 3 deep breaths and enjoy the moment, the connectedness to the life that abounds!  Lots of good vibes to all….

yet living in the moment and accepting the reality of a situation and the new paths it creates is equally important.
Three weeks back from the journey… two in your face realizations -1) Life quickly adjusts to your circumstances… did the trip ever happen???  2) We are a consumer nation and we WASTE so much.  Please recycle, turn the lights off, don’t waste water (just pee outside ) and remember that “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure“

What is new in the life of John and the greater world we live in…loose end tie up, final goodbyes, figuring out if I shall keep this site active whilst away, making sure homes are in order, stock trading, boat issues, outfitting, pizza party in West Point last night, great night in Rockland with Erin at sweet bed and breakfast, standard fare I would say.

So, the decision to keep this blog running concurrent with the new and exciting CaribbeanEndeavour.com, hmmmm..  do I have enough to write about, does it make sense, what is the purpose, intent, meaning and reason for communication, why do we strive so hard to reach as many people as possible in this day and age, questions with so many answers in so many different books and resources by so many different authors, minds, philosophies!  A couple pictures from 07  and 06 work weekends at Neph, perhaps the most wonderful place in my memory to date although the Caribbean may surely give it a run for its money!   Keep on rocking in the free world and if you are reading this the post below is new with a great quote that I had forgotten to upload

Well, a rainy Saturday AM here in Bath as I prepare to embark up the coast to Rockland with Sverre to work upon the Audax. The quote above was sent to me by Erin and is one of the best I have seen in quite a while. In this life there are people who complain about everything and there are those that roll with the punches. It seems more so our generation is the complainers and the older ones are less so but in the dynamic world we live in, it is never too late to change Mind set and attitude, perception and knowledge. Read a great story by Scot at his website about vanity and perception taken after reading Huxley, a British author I do believe. The lawn was shaved, the wings were cooked, the budweisers were cracked, hmmm this used to be mountain dew 10 years prior :)  and the game was on. Full of fun filled crocquing competition, kisses to the victors of our most excellent tournement Cohen and Kastro!  Congratulations my friends but watch out for next time around.   10 years and it seemed like just yesterday, what a great joy to experience with great friends from a past life for sure not forgotten.  The official reunion, far better than could ever be expected and I must say I am very blessed to have such great people to experience life with.  Hopefully you can see all the happy, perhaps wine and beer induced but nonetheless….
