A gorgeous, bright and sun filled day here in Maine, a most interesting last week where I got to meet many great souls, give back to the community and take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day living. What have I learned.. that a lot of this society lacks ambition, motivation and the drive to excel, yet despite all this, the human soul is strong in most people, good still outnumbers evil and despite all the laziness and apathy in our world, hope is still plentiful and if we can got a good leader to run this country and come togethe as a nation and a world, the potential is limitless. On a more practical note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY sister Bryn, plans for a cruise aboard the Triggs tonight, the running of a triathalon in Bath tomorrow and BBQ Clambake tomorrow at SYBS….

My past trip to UVA a few weekends ago for my 5 year reunion, damn I am getting old yet feel so young. A few pictures from the excursion courtesy of Mr. Mike Mahon. Some golf, some food, some hiking, a lot of memories, a lot of great times…it takes but a phone call to stay in touch, the years, months, days, hours you spend with people, don’t lose touch, stop and say hello….

Our chalet for the summer in many thanks to the genorosity and good will of Scott, the owner, who has asked myself along with my brother and sister to caretake the cottage and his 5 properties in the area.  Rough place to live I daresay, 4 bedrooms, wonderful deepwater dock dining table that seats 16. Fine dining and cocktail parties only, no more of that rigamorale fraternal living!
If you can’t find me in Portland or Bath, this will be my spot, sailing, boating, and typing away on this computer in my continued efforts to come up number one in Google for the keyword “Maine Real Estate.” currently I am at 18 and rising!!!

Pics to follow soon but the results are in, a clean and decisive win for myself – number competing – 1
. Official participants numbered a whopping 4 with my sister doing the kayak leg, not having shoes to then run, team Whitter (biking) and mariah (running, who by the way is fast!!! ) rounded out the numbers. Photographer Sverre St. John and Poet Laureate Scot Herrigel and many others lent their hands in the enourmous support network it took to pull this thing off. For the 15 or so people who claim Summer Days Race is their time to shine, lets put your money where your mouth is and start trainig, late August shall be the time. A most excellent Sunday morning here in West Point, once I got my new contacts in the right eyes, life is looking much clearer. Â

Well, my eloquent entry just got deleted before I posted it. The basic gist… United sucks, got stuck for the night, thus solved all the Iraq and global warming problems with Bushy, paying 9.99 to write this entry and getting ready to golf for the first time all year at UVA…. till next time!

Ok, so this might be a bit abstract for some to fathom, but here it goes…believe me when I say this is the real deal. Ok, so yesterday I went to go see a shaman to help retrieve parts of my soul that have taken flight.  During the process my shaman discovered that at the moment prior to my bike and ensuing head injury 11 years ago, the spirit from my recently deceased Uncle Freddy, god rest his soul, decided to take refuge in me. Explaining much about the confilct and turmoil I have felt for the past years, the shaman was able to extricate the two souls from one other, convincing my uncles to move on to the next stage. During the trance my shaman was in I experience a hot flash and then extreme tingling of my extremities. I did not rise and scream “Halleluiah, I am free” or any craziness like that, but let me tell you, about 15 minutes afterwards and after talking with the shaman my outlook, perspective, and general feelings of peacfulness coupled with a  ”fire in the belly” exuberance began to shine through. Mind over matter, physical and/or spiritual transformation or nonesense? Only time will tell.  Took the sailboat out yesterday, got the lobster traps sorted out, great BBQ with Erin, Bryn, Sarah, Ethan and Scot last night. Life works in mysterious ways!

Guy gets blog, guy write entry, time goes by, no entry…. Greetings all my friends and family, rainly spring day in Maine, no more snow, no more wind, but the carnage from the Patriots Day storm still remains. What has gone on the past 2 weeks, seems real estate brokerage has been the dominant force in my life other than the enjoyment of hanging out with family, friends and loved ones. Uncoverd the Santa Maria the other day, she will sail this summer, period! The Triggs Mobile needs a paint job, York Street is underging landscaping transformation, struggling to find a new roomate for 903 Ocean, studying for a real estate exam this coming Wednesday, working out, running and swimming, revamping the real estate website for better SEO, back in the market for real estate myself, perhaps a water company, same old same old but always different, exciting, new and dynamic. Spring days the week of June 7-8th, get training!

Note to self..when self employed alot a portion of each commission check to pay the government, no matter how badly they may be mismanaging our money.  Sipping a glass of wine from the sweet new glasses given to my by my awesome girlfriend Erin, it was my birthday April 10th, thanks to all who remembered
. Life is good, as long as I don’t get blown away this evening by the nor”easter fast approaching our state of Maine, I feel this week will be a great one, a same day trip to visit my grandmother this Tuesday, lots of real estate deals in the works, home improvment projects galore and the beginings of some great internet sites.  Peace be with everyone and come visit Maine this summer if you haven’t been in a while!!!

Well, a surprise call from Bibo really got me thinking how easy it is to lose touch with faces from your past. Before you know it a whole year seems to go by without a call, such a simple concept, pick up the phone, dial a number, make it happen. If need be with such busy schedules, pencil it into your day… Just do it,

Dave Matthews, rock stars, millionares, societal cultural stars.  Music, the sounds, emotions, feelings it spews forth, the wonderous melodies, the ability to uplift, bring down, twist inside and out, do you want to shout? A solid day despite the rain/sleet/snow in APRIL, gotta love it if you live up in this great state. Well the cleansing diet lasted approximately 96 plus hours, but the organic kick only continues to accelerate as I seem to hesitate prior to putting any pesiticide ridden, processed food into my belly, surprisingly no coffee yet although I was so looking forward to a cappacino (sp ?
) this evening!! Life  moves forward, James Blunt plays in the background, tea kettle hisses in the kitchen, sounds, sites, thoughts surround…
